This term, we’ve had many of our Explorers take Robotics for their activity, which is perfect to use as a skill for DofE and is great for anybody who is interested in technology, programming or computer science.
The aim of the activity is to build a buggy that follows a black/white line by using a light sensor that detects the change in light, and puts the buggy back on track. Here’s what one of the currently work-in-progress buggies looks like:
