Early start this morning to get the group on the coach at 9.30am for our last big day trip of the holiday. Our first stop was at Trummelbach falls in Lauterbrunnen. This is a series of 10 glacier waterfalls inside the mountain which drains the glaciers of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau that has 20,000 litres of water per second.
After our visit to the falls the group took full advantage of the warm weather and enjoyed a picnic lunch before heading to Interlaken. We spent the afternoon in Interlaken buying souvenirs and browsing some very expensive shops! The group met together at 6pm in the beautiful park looking over the Jungfrau for our important holiday group photo.
Our evening activity involved enjoying a 3 course meal in a Swiss restaurant whilst watching Swiss Folklore music group. The explorers needed no encouragement to join in with Swiss traditional dancing, playing a selection of musical instruments including the Swiss horn!
Our return journey back to the chalet was very loud, with the explorers singing along to ABBA songs, thankfully there was no yodelling!
